Customer Service Representative

Priority Courier Experts is now interviewing! Join our company in our Customer Service department. This is a great position for anyone with service-related experience (e.g. food industry, banking, call centers, hospitality, cashiers, receptionists, etc.), but it is not a prerequisite for the job. Higher education is not required.

Job Description

This CSR opportunity is full time, 40 hours per week, and may require flexibility as business demands. There are many shifts available as the company operates 24/7/365. The primary role of our CSR department is to receive calls from our customers and enter the data into our system, which is the start of the delivery process. This is a fast paced, dynamic position where efficiency is key.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming customer and contractor calls and emails
  • Entering live shipping orders into our system
  • Sorting, filing, and labeling paperwork
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Quick thinking, assessing, and resolution skills
  • Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Word and Excel (willing to learn acceptable)

Compensation and Benefits

  • $20.00 to $21.00 per hour based on qualifications and skills
  • Possible increase at 90 days based on performance

Dispatcher

The Dispatcher's primary responsibility is to quickly and efficiently assign On-Demand work to drivers as the work is received. Dispatchers analyze in real time, the available work to identify and create appropriate shipping lanes for drivers. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining positive working partnerships with all of our independent contractors. Both our Customers and Independent Contractors depend on our dispatcher to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

  • assign 300 to 500 on-call and recurring orders per day
  • On-time performance of both your fleet/zone and the overall fleet
  • Professional and respectful communication and relationships with drivers, customers and internal departments
  • Quickly and effectively handling exceptions and special needs
  • Mentoring Contractors and helping them succeed professionally

Compensation:

  • $21.50 to $30.00 per hour to start (based on experience or ability). There is no slow track at Priority, once you demonstrate an understanding of our business we will place you in our operations center and adjust your pay to equal your ability. Primary Dispatchers can earn $80,000 to $93,000 annually.

This key person uses their experience both federal and state regulatory compliance for motor carriers and drivers to keep operations running smoothly while minimizing risk. Sales - Transportation

New Business Development - Critical Account Support

Priority is Minnesota's largest same-day transportation provider, delivering superior service to over 5000 Minnesota businesses in ten vehicle classes. You will represent 485 late model vehicles ranging from Car, Transit Connect, Pickup, Transit full-size, Specialty Dock, Straight Dock, Flatbed, Curtain side, Flatbed Moffet and Tractor Trailer. There is not a more diverse fleet in the country, which is the basis of our trademarked statement "Every Time You Call Us... We Deliver!" We sell one product, service!

Transportation experience is preferred but not necessary. Ninety-five percent of our current staff started with no transportation experience and are now the experts in the industry.

Sales - New Business Development:

The Critical Account Support department is most critical at Priority. Department personal will work in a very fast paced environment. Our CAS' communicate real time with the customer, driver, dispatcher, sales managers and basically touch every department in the company. We are looking for highly efficient candidates to join our team in a role that is referred to as a liaison to everything Priority.

  • $2,000 sign on bonus - paid at 30 days
  • Minimum $20 per hour with opportunity to advance to $25 per hour
